My inspiration for the production of these special snuff bones goes back to an old, still existing and proven tradition of South American healing rituals, in which sick people and people generally seeking help visit wise medicine men. There, special mixtures of certain plants, plant ashes, seeds and herbs are blown into their bodies by the healer through the nose via tubes made of natural materials and/or various bones, or they are asked to convey the powder mixture themselves directly into their bodies by deep nasal inhalation with the tube. From now on, the medicine men say, the journey to a healthy, perfect life begins, where no questions remain unanswered.
